About

Mondå Forlag publishes illustrated books that use humor to facilitate communication across cultures. Our vision is to help foreigners to better understand locals and locals to better understand their own culture. We have published books about the Norwegian, Swedish and Scandinavian cultures and our authors are working on a more global book about cultural differences. The illustrations in our books provide an easy way to understand cultural differences and facilitate communication across cultures.

Our authors and illustrators have a range of backgrounds from academia, business and media. They are engineers, nurses, chefs, designers, investors, TV producers and entrepreneurs. Together they share their insights into how to socialize, communicate and connect with people of different cultures. They explain aspects of the Scandinavian cultures with the aim to help society benefit from cultural diversity.
